The Class
Music with Miss Dolly is a dedicated music education platform in Oranmore, Galway, Ireland. My classes ae designed to foster creativity and learning in children. Specialising in piano and percussion classes, I aim to nurture young talents.
Expect music, movement, dance and fun.
Me:
I am a primary school teacher with over 15 years experience in working with children in Ireland and abroad. I am also a carer for my youngest son Laochra who is 4 years old. I love working with children and understand how important it is for them to feel safe, seen, and free to explore. My classes are led with warmth, patience, and plenty of flexibility, creating an environment where children can be exactly who they are.
What expect in my class:
Each class is gently structured but flexible, with plenty of room for movement and exploration.
A typical session includes:

Singing familiar and new songs

Movement and action songs

Simple instruments

Sensory elements like bubbles and scarves

Calm moments alongside energetic ones
Toddlers are free to join in, move around, take breaks, or simply watch. Parents and carers stay with their child throughout and are encouraged to relax and enjoy the experience together.

I have first hand experience in using Lamh sign language at home and use it throughout my class. My goal is to have my classes accessible and adaptable to suit individual needs of the children and parents who come to class.
